Privacy Policy
Numino · Last updated 2 October 2026
The short version. Numino has no accounts and no logins. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number. Your puzzle progress stays on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some device data to show and measure those ads — you choose whether that data can be used for personalised ads. The app also sends play statistics to GameAnalytics so we can see where the game is too hard or too easy — in the EU, the UK and Switzerland only if you agree.
Who we are
Numino ("the app", "we", "us") is a puzzle game for iOS and Android, made by mach200, a one-person studio in Poland. For any question about this policy, or to use your rights under the GDPR, email mach200studio@gmail.com.
What is collected
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Apple IDFA only if you allow tracking; Android advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information (model, OS version, language), and how you interact with ads | To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent ad fraud. For personalised ads, only with your consent | Google AdMob. See how Google uses data from apps |
| Your consent choices | To remember what you agreed to | Your device, through Google's consent tool |
| Play statistics: a random device ID (on iPhone the ID Apple gives each app maker, IDFV), levels started and solved, time per level, hints used, ads shown, device and app information (model, OS version, app version, country) | To see how the game is played and make it better. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, only after you tap "Share" | GameAnalytics, as our data processor. See GameAnalytics' privacy policy |
| The "Remove ads" purchase | To turn off ads and give unlimited hints | Apple or Google. We never receive your payment details |
| Your progress, settings, hints and time per level | To run the game and remember where you are | Your device only. It is never sent to us |
What we do not collect
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- Your contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- Your precise location.
- Anything that tells us who you are — play statistics are tied to a random device ID, never to your name or account.
Ads and your choices
The free version of Numino shows ads served by Google AdMob. Numino does not choose, see or store the data Google uses for this.
- In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Numino shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested. You can accept, refuse or choose per purpose. If you refuse, you still see ads, but they are not personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
- On iPhone and iPad, iOS asks whether Numino may track you across apps. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your advertising ID is never shared. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Buy "Remove ads" and Numino stops requesting ads altogether.
Our legal basis for personalised ads in the EU is your consent. For non-personalised ads, it is our legitimate interest in funding a free game.
Play statistics
Numino uses GameAnalytics to count how players move through the levels: where they stop, how long a level takes, how often hints and ads are used. We look at totals, not at individual players.
- In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks first ("Help improve Numino?"). Nothing is sent, and GameAnalytics is not started, unless you tap Share. Our legal basis there is your consent.
- Elsewhere it is on by default. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the game.
- You can turn it off or on at any time in Settings → Share play stats.
GameAnalytics processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and keeps detailed data for a limited time.
Purchases
"Remove ads" is a one-time purchase sold and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We only receive confirmation that it was bought — never your card details or billing address. Your purchase is remembered on your device and can be restored with Restore purchases in the app.
Children
Numino is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
We hold no personal data about you on our own servers. Play statistics are held by GameAnalytics for us. You stay in control:
- Erase your progress — Settings → Reset progress in the app, or delete the app.
- Stop play statistics — Settings → Share play stats. To have statistics already sent deleted, tap the Stats ID at the bottom of Settings to copy it, email it to us, and we will have GameAnalytics delete them.
- Change ad consent — Settings → Privacy choices (EU, UK and Switzerland).
- Data held by Google — see My Ad Center and Google's Privacy Policy.
You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Poland that is the UODO.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
