Privacy Policy

The short version. Regula has no accounts and no logins. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number, and we cannot identify you. Your learning progress is stored on your own device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud account — which we have no access to.
Who we are
Regula ("the app", "we", "us") is a grammar practice app for iOS. If you have a question about this policy, email mach200studio@gmail.com.
What we collect

What we do not collect
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- Your contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
- Your precise location.
- Any data that identifies you personally.
Analytics
We use TelemetryDeck to count anonymous, session-level events — for example that a quiz was completed, not which questions you answered. TelemetryDeck does not use advertising identifiers and stores its data in the European Union.
Per-question data stays on your device. It is what powers the statistics screen inside the app, and it is never sent to us.
Paywalls
We use Superwall to deliver and measure the Premium upgrade screen. Superwall receives device and app information so it can decide which version of the screen to show and record whether it led to a purchase.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress, settings and quiz history sync through Apple's CloudKit to your own private iCloud database. This is your storage, not ours: we cannot read it, and it is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. If you are signed out, everything stays on the device and the app works normally.
Purchases
Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active — never your card details or billing address.
Children
Regula is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. Since we collect no personal data at all, no such data can be stored.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete on request. You remain in control of everything the app stores:
- Erase your data — Settings → Reset all progress, inside the app.
- Stop analytics — deleting the app stops all event collection immediately.
- Remove iCloud data — iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Regula.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
